Where is the Wikid Agency based?
We're based in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, and we build websites for businesses right across Ireland, plus a handful in the UK and further afield. Local clients can meet us in person. Everyone else gets the same service by video call and email.
What kind of websites do you build?
Bespoke WordPress websites and WooCommerce online shops, each one designed from scratch for the business it belongs to. We never start from a premade theme. Every site is built to look right, load fast and get found on Google.
Do you work with bigger businesses or just small ones?
Both. Most of our clients are small businesses and sole traders, and we also build for bigger organisations such as dlr Leisure, Ireland's Classic Hits Radio and Radio Nova. With 10 to 50 staff, you get the same people and the same process, scaled to what your site needs to do.
Who will I actually deal with?
Ryan, who runs the agency, is your contact from the first call to launch. There are three of us at Wikid, so the person you talk to is the person doing the work. Everything is agreed by email, so you always have a clear record of what was decided and when.
How long does a website take?
Most builds take one to three months, depending on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come back to us. Single-page sites are much faster. We design your homepage first and get your sign-off before building the rest, and there's no cap on review rounds.
Will we own the website?
Yes. Once the site is paid in full it's yours, and you always have full admin access to it. Every new website comes with a year of free hosting. After that you can stay on our hosting and maintenance plan or move the site wherever you like.
Do you host and look after websites too?
Yes. We host WordPress sites on fast, autoscaling cloud hosting, and our maintenance plan keeps them updated, backed up daily, scanned for malware and checked every five minutes. Every new website comes with a year of free hosting.
How do I get a price?
Our instant estimate gives you a price range for a website in under five minutes. For an accurate quote, or for branding, hosting or reporting, get in touch and we'll come back with a clear written price. Full website builds start with a 20% deposit, with the balance due after launch.
